Grecian Formula used to be a really good product. Twice a week application would keep my hair its natural color. Then I began to notice that something had changed. My hair began to look more white. This is not the same product as before. Some ingredient has been changed or removed.

This is the "old formula" (lead acetate) that has worked well for me. I have had my blood lead levels checked and they are always zero. The reviews of the new formula aren't great, from what I have read.

I don't see Grecian Formula in the drug stores anymore so I order it on line. I am 73 and people always tell me I look a lot younger, partly due to my hair still having an honest looking color but not grey.. I have friends who dye their hair and it just doesn't look realistic to not have some greying setting in. Grecian Formula has always done what they say it will. It brings back color and when you hit the shade you want, you cut back on the frequency used.
