Really entertaining movies. They're self-aware B-grade types of ridiculous. I wish more movies could let themselves be this stupid (and I mean stupid in the best way possible--I'm being genuine). They're critically terrible, of course--you'd swear these movies practically invented plot holes--but they're infinitely more rewatchable than lots of critically acclaimed art films, and the few genuinely great moments remind you of why the original Godzilla 1954 was so influential and everlasting.

Unlike a lot of other movies that are either of good quality or bad quality, in "Godzilla Vs. King Ghidorah" some scenes are really good and others are kind of tacky like a homemade movie. There are certain things that the movie tries to show that the studio and production team seem to have just not been able to pull off with the technology at the time. Like the scene where Godzilla steps on American soldiers during WWII. Also many of the android scenes are just downright comical. Certain other scenes are excellent like the scenes when Godzilla and King Ghidorah battle, or when Godzilla stomps through cities. The latter half of the movie is better than the former half. Sorry but I haven't seen "Godzilla and Mothra" yet.

You gotta love the guys in the suits. With the combination of old school special effects and a little cgi thrown in.
