This edition reads like a work-in-progress. The new "integrated" format just means that everything is jumbled up. There are constant references to concepts that won't be explained for 10+ or more chapters. My professor has mentioned several times that she may go back to the old version. With the exception of the above, the book is fairly well written. Most concepts are described well, with passable examples. If possible, buy the previous edition, or wait for the next. This one needs more work.
This product satisfied me in two ways. First of all, used textbook which I purchased was two times cheaper then the new one. That was a good way to save money. Second reason of why I liked the product is that I could not find it on the other online stores.
I liked how it was organized for the learner to understand it. There was no vocabulary that was over my head. My teacher thinks this is the best book written on the principles of the subject.
