And starts off extremely boring and confusing. I read this for a college literature class and found myself bored out of my mind. The book starts off with chapters and chapters of first person letters of a sea captain to his sister. He picks up Dr.Frankenstein who was chasing his creation. Then it turns into a third person point of view. I found myself reading halfway through then giving up on it. Cliffsnotes.com has a great review of it. It breaks down each section and its meaning. Basically I got an A in the course from Cliffsnotes. When you finally read it you'll see what I mean. you'll find yourself rereading and rereading paragrphs to make sense of the eighteenth century literature. Not a fun read
What a wonderful read...still not finished with it but excellent.
