Don't waste your time or money. The information in this book is so outdated and,therefore, incorrect. It is built on the old outdated information about whole grains and rice and canola oil being good for you. Also, I cannot eat gluten or nuts so this book is useless to me and anyone who is current and savvy relative to healthy dietary choices. Also, this book recommends eating small meals 4 times a day saying it keeps blood sugar level. It will be level alright because you continue to keep it high with these choices. Poor quality information compared to current information.

This book is a follow-up to the book "The Flat Belly Diet" and is a collection of recipes that follow the Flat Belly Diet. The plan encourages eating four smaller meals each day with "healthy" fat a part of each meal. This book covers the diet plan so that you do not need both books, although, having both books gets you more recipes. The recipes are easy to make and focus on no more than twelve ingredients in each recipe. You can loose wieght on this diet!
I like the variety of items that you can make using their recipes. The diet seems pretty easy to follow. I haven't started it yet- that's something I'm always willing to start tomorrow - or the next day ! But I will give this diet a try. It seems easy to follow, the sassy water calls for items I never use, but it may be good.
It's true - as one ages it becomes harder to lose weight. I have tried several other programs, Weight-Watchers included, and have failed at all. In fact, with some I even gained weight. I thought I would try one more time to lose the weight I needed - Prevention's Flat Belly Diet. To my delight I am successful. I have been on it for six weeks and have lost over 20 pounds (but I do include my own exercise routine). I bought this cookbook to have a larger selection of meal options. All that I have made are delicious.
I love this diet. It is wholesome, well balanced and easy to follow. There is plenty of food to eat and you can easily eat out. Very easy to lose weight on the diet but you really have to follow it. Can't say enough. We have always eaten fairly healthy but now we eat even better. Great for vegetarians too A must try. You'll be hooked
