Slowly cut or sand from the bottom until the take down pin will slide through the hole, to make these fit in the rear pocket of your AR lower, and when the rear takedown pin fits, the wobble from side to side on a loose fitting upper to lower fit will diminish to near zero. This will give you tighter shot groups guaranteed. Be patient on getting them so the rear takedown pin will fit...don't go too far, with the removal of material from the bottom of the wedge, to shorten the height...I tapped my rear takedown pin through the hole, to get the tightest fit. Excellent fix for loose fits. Recommended.

Had to trim around 1/16" to allow my DPMS A-15 Oracle 5.56 upper to lock on the lower. Rear receiver pin wouldn't close otherwise. Still a tight fit. I've noticed tighter groups since installing. Try installing and closing rear pin. If it won't close, shave just a hair off the whole diameter of the bottom. If you remove too little of material you can always remove more. If you remove too much, then you might as well throw it in the trash. If you do it right, you will be happy with the results!! Get one!

Built my first AR and noticed it had a little wiggle between the upper and lower. Saw where this little item would not only help the wiggle but accuracy as well. It was simple to install and eliminated the wiggle. Best $6 I have spent for a while.

Plenty of length to allow for trimming to get a snug fit. Should increase accuracy of your precision rifle.
