Well I’m not gonna say what this resin bad or perfect, if you work on canvas with this resin and acrylic-it’s really good, easy to play with not that dry, drying slow but I guess it’s more plus actually, but!! You need to do clear layer after no matter what, it’s just can’t dry perfect if you use mix resin acrylic, but again it’s ok I think so I can’t say it’s perfect 100% but I can’t say it’s bad-I think it’s really reasonable price and quality is good

I used this for a bar top made of 2x6's and it came out great. The only problem I had was I mixed it to much for the first batch and it started to dry as I was pouring it. The instructions I read was to make sure you thoroughly mix it and the mixing stage was the most important part so I did not think mixing it to long would be a big deal. I was wrong. Make sure you don't under mix it also because it will never cure if you don't mix it thoroughly. I also suggest hand mixing it do not try to mix it with a drill if you have never used this product before. If you have been mixing this stuff over five minutes and it starts getting warm stop mixing. This stuff got so hot it was steaming when I started pouring it. You should definitely try it on a a test area or scrap piece of wood or whatever you are coating. I did not and when I over mixed it I had big clumps of this epoxy all over my bar and I had to sand it off with a belt sander which was not a easy task. Do not try to mix to much if this is your first time using this product and it is best to have two people one mixing a batch while the other person is spreading it. I found that a sponge brush worked best for me. I also did not do a seal coat so some of the cracks and knots in the wood did not fill out properly. This stuff works great and looks great just make sure you do not try to cut steps or corners or you will end up with a disaster.Read full review

I found that this resin is much thicker than most. The bottle says approximately 30 min work time and that’s exactly what you get. For clear coating or casting it’s good. Not the product you want to use if you are doing different color artistic pours as it heats up very quickly after adding the color. And the viscosity is very thick hard to get the stuff to even spread much less mix and mingle on the project.

I treated 5 tables, 4 tables went fine .. 1 table is still wet ... I dont know what happened .... all used same stock. If I had used two different mixtures then I could have thought that mixing went bad ... but I used exactly same mixtures for all the 5 tables.

I have been using this non-toxic epoxy to make fiberglass layups. It has virtually NO ODOR, cures well, and machines (sands) well. Since my work is in the basement of my home, having no noxious fumes is very important. Having no solvents - it is a little on the thick side. It is absolutely clear, so to help with complete mixing, I put in a few drops of color, otherwise, you can't see any change. Decent working time. Why buy toxic material, when there is a non-toxic alternative?
