Bought this vacuum to replace a Lindhaus that I had owned and loved for 15 years. This vacuum has excellent suction and fingertip control. The cord conveniently recoils. It folds down nicely for convenient storage. Drawbacks are that the bags are extremely small and need to be changed rather frequently. There are no on-board tools and so any corners and crevices will have to be done with a different vacuum. The cord is short at 21 ft. I've had to switch outlets right in the same average sized room. The depth of the vacuum does not allow it to easily slip under beds for cleaning. Overall the suction on this vacuum makes up for much of its shortcomings so far. As long as that holds out, I will continue to be satisfied with this purchase. I must say that if I had paid near the retail price, I doubt I would be so forgiving of these shortfalls.Read full review
We have a class C RV, an old one. We "rough it" sometimes, but we like to keep the old rig clean. We have gone through more "off brand" small vacuums, and 12volt hand held stuff than we care to admit only to be disapointed at the results, or worse yet, see them burn out in a few hours of use. We always ended up waiting until we got back home to clean up the RV carpets with our home sweeper. THEN along came this Electrolux upright. This thing is cute, small, versitile, and has more guts than anything I have ever seen in such a small package. We were planning to replace the carpet in the old RV, but after a few times cleaning with this vacuum we ended up deciding the old carpet looked pretty good again. It takes up very little space, and when it is needed it opens up into a full size workhorse with all the power needed to do a complete cleaning. Come to think of it, this thing can clean a heck of a lot more than an RV, and it's price is so low that we could buy about 20 of them for what we paid for the Filter Queen we have in our home. Before buying anything in the way of vacuum cleaners, check this on out. Paying high prices for something to clean floors is just not right. This product in my opinion is the best there is, and comes with the lowest price of any vacuum in it's class. At least check it out. Anything similar in size and quality is MUCH more expensive.Read full review
This cleaner is excellent for a small apartment or condo because of the compact size and folding handle. We live in a condo and I easily store it in the pantry. Love the power - but hate the tiny bag.I have never seen a vaccum cleaner bag that's only 8" long!!! If you have wool rugs this is not the machine for you - it fills up the bag too fast. If you have low pile and bare floor it's excellent.I am thinking of putting a zipper in my bag, so I can empty it without replacing them....
First, I was able to save about 65% buying this vaccuum on ebay over most retail stores. The things that make this sweeper good are the space saving design, the amazing suction power and the retractable cord. It makes a great secpnd/back-up sweeper since the replaceable bag is very small and the cord is relatively short (21ft). I have found that the replaceable bags (6 for $9.99) can be reused a few times if you don;t mind getting your hans dirty. All in all, a good sweeper that also looks good.
This vacuum is great on tile and laminate floors. Wonderful on carpet. The only thing that I don't like is the length of the cord. I have to use an extension cord to vacuum. My family has always owned Electrolux vacuums and they have never had any problem out of them. Would buy again.
