The best word I can think of to accurately describe this book is 'cute'. It's worth flipping through once for the pictures, humor and anecdotal little tidbits, but if you are looking for a book to truly help you better understand the body language of dogs, this is not going to do the trick. In my opinion, you would be much better informed after reading something by Stanley Coren or John Katz.
It contains a lot of interesting facts. With a lot of pictures, it is a quick read. I felt the title was misleading because it rarely mentions body language.
