Another off the chart book with a rating of 175 out of 10, with 10 being the highest, I can't tell you how much the kids love this book! This adorable book has been part of my daycare library for just a couple of years or so, and the kids want to read it day after day. From the accident prone and attitude sometimes stinks David come phrases like "I didn't mean to" and "It wasn't my fault!" David tends to do things like hit the baseball through the window, pull the cat's tail, and eat the chocolate cake, all with an excuse. The one where David uses the excuse of "I forgot!" is the all time favorite page. The kids just wait to get to it. I will sometimes skip the page just to torment them! LOL At the end his mom still loves him, even though he has been just a little bit testy. David learns to say he's sorry, and he knows he is loved no matter what. This book is an absolute must for your library, whether daycare, preschool or early elementary, at home, or Grandma's. Your kids will love it, guaranteed! Thank you for taking the time to read this guide. I hope you are ready to buy it for your library now! Sincerely, Mrs. Skywalker_trackRead full review
I bought this item because my son loves this little boy David thats featured in many books by this author. There are some funny pictures in this book. I think in this book the boy David takes his pants off and runs down the street, but they only show his bottom. Funny book, but it may not be suitable for 3 and under.
I absolutely love David Shannon and sharing his books with the children in my classroom.
