Gives you a idea of what our men in uniform go through weather they like it or not. My husband Was in the Military for 21 years then went to work for the state. He never once talked to me about any of his jobs and I never asked. He was in during the Korean War. You did what you were told and went where they needed you. It was a good life. But hard on the wives staying at home waiting. He tell this story as he lived it and he gave it is all I respect a person like that, and since I do not like Hillary we are on the same page. I do not consider her a Lady or a nice person. He lets you know in this work his feeling on all the garbage they have to take from the higher ups. Good book a shows the real Hillary thanks for writing it for us all to see.

Hillary and Bill are crooked liars... This book is advertised as "firsthand experience". The The book is ALMOST ALL the work history of a White House SECURITY GUARD who had no special access to the President or first family. The book opens with his dull story about being an Air Force Security Police...it gets duller... he gets hired as a Secret Service Security guard...a rehash of Bill and Monica story and his interview during the Starr investigation.....book barely mentions HILLARY...then it goes into his transfer to the Air Marshall Service and a flight where all the passengers are sick, puking and crapping... Several instances of where Barney Fyffe got so nervous he vomited... He had one car chase after "suspicious persons" that ended when he quit the chase and turned around and went back to White House (his moment of glorious police work)... Book is a complete misrepresentation and is fraudulently advertised as a tell all. He tells all he knows...nothing.Read full review

I'm sure history will one day reveal much more. This is a decidedly reserved approach to make the public aware of what we are only starting to perceive as the Clinton Brand and how the public was enticed to buy into their brand. It falls short as an expose, but still worth the few pages of honest opinions of the author ( clearly a frustrated employee of the federal govt ). The book was more enlightening of the bureaucratic nonsense that goes on in law enforcement, revealing a dysfunctional hierarchy more reminiscent of a Tudoresque style of government. Not a page turner, but still worth the time.

Quite honestly, I picked up this book to find out about the inner workings of the White House and the relationship between Bill, Hillary and their staff. It was mostly about the author and his life before, during and a lot after the White House years. He had a few stories that have already played out in the media and he portrays himself as more important than he really was. I was waiting for the bombshells or the juicy secrets but Hillary throwing a vase at Bill and Monica not being allowed in the White House while Bill was with another woman were about it. Now you don't need to read the book!

Poorly edited, with some sentences not even making sense. I became bored with the author's constant whining about having to testify, with the constraints placed on him, to the point that I decided he really needed some help with handling stress -- he's a SS rep? If he can't handle THAT, God help him in a really serious situation with the President. Very little new information, except for him to pat himself on the back for getting Monica out of the White House, as if he could trust anyone to keep their mouths shut about it, or Bill couldn't have got her back anytime he wanted her there. Just a "waste of time and money" read.
