I own 5 other Crimson Trace lasers - All of them have been wonderful and perform wonderfully. I also own the Lasermax for both the G19 and the G43...and I would have to say I prefer the Crimson Trace models over the Lasermax. I also have bought a few of the 'cheapie' versions...they don't need to be named...but if you are spending under $100 on a laser...well...you are gonna get that kind of value and performance. The Crimson Trace models - with their "instinctive activation" system work very well for me. In particular...I have carried my G26 - both the Gen 3 and the Gen 4 with this model of CT Laserguard for many years, thousands of rounds, in about all the activities of my active lifestyle...and it's been flawless. CT sends me batteries every year for free...what more could I ask for?! :)Read full review

The laser mounts firmly to the gun and stays adjusted. It doesn't drift after several shots. The battery life is excellent and Crimson Trace provides free batteries when needed. There is no need for $100 night sights which helps to offset the price of the laser. I like the position of the laser it's inline with the bore and about 1" below. When seconds count there's no fumbling for a button to turn it on, when you grip the piston it comes on. You don't have to be in the perfect shooting stance to shoot accurately. If you can see it, you can hit it. Again when seconds count target acquisition is immediate. You don't have to be an avid shooter to do well. My wife and daughter both carry lasers and shoot accurately with them. To see just how effective a laser can be, put one on your gun, sight it in, take someone to the range that doesn't shoot very often and let them shoot it and see how they do. There's a psychological advantage also, when you see that red dot on your shirt and you know that's where the hole goes. This is my 6th Crimson Trace laser and yes, they are pricey but when it comes down to me or the crook I'll take every advantage that I can get.Read full review

I have had a Crimson Trace for years and just purchased another Crimson Trace for my new firearm. Under normal use, every month at the range, the battery has lasted 3 years. I recommend it.

The sight fits tight against the G 19 frame and is easy to sight in. So far after a couple of hundreds rounds shot the sight has not drifted from the original settings.

I left bad rating before, I need to change my remarks, It was my fault ,I had't found on-off switch for laser due to not reading instructions like all good maintanace men do. Switch is very easy to operate with index finger from both sides of gun either hand.
