For myself, it's a very nice sounding instrument. I did put new strings on it and that made it sound even better. I've been playing a baritone ukulele for a while now as a way to transition from a guitar to ukulele and now I feel ready to tackle a tenor ukulele. I'm glad I found this particular model of a Cordoba. It's made well and to me looks like a small classical guitar with the exception of the solid tuning head as opposed to a slotted head. I have a soprano ukulele as well but I like the size of the tenor since the neck is longer and it's easier for me to finger the chords. I also use a capo so the size of the instrument is better for using one. I feel it's a good investment and worth the money spent. It's a wonderful instrument for people who want to learn how to play the ukulele.Read full review
