my fx4350 is happy with it. i have 3 fans moving air thru it. one pusher two pullers. eventually i'll try a small overclock with it and dial up the fan speed just for fun but for now it works great at stock settings. for what little i paid for it i think its quite possibly the best air cooler on the market. its huge and with 6 heat pipes! i have it in a Corsair Obsidian 450D. tight fit but it does fit with zero issues. my temp monitor says cpu max 35c, gpu max 51c so my cpu is literally staying cooler than my gpu. basically all i do is surf the internet and watch youtube or primewire. zero gaming.

While idle I get 14C on a stock fx8320 while the and stock cooler is more than 10 degree hotter.I was able to get a case on top of the heatsink but there's only a tink gap left.Installing the wires was not easy on my xigmatek aquila case.Could not connect some wires while the motherboard is inside the case.Had to remove the motherboard to connect the wires because the heatsink is HUGE.Everything is great about this cooler.I

AMD Stock: Prime 95 Results: 88* C CM Hyper 612 V 2: Prime 95 Results: 48*C I'll take a 40*C drop any day for $25. I would pay up to $50 for that. This is cheaper than AIO cooling and it performs just as well without the risk of liquid leakage.

The fan is very quiet and does an excellent job of keeping the system cool. It is much bigger than I expected but there was still room for the video card next to it. My only complaint is that mine came with no instructions. I think they normally do but I had to do some looking online. It's not too hard to assemble but I wanted to make sure I did everything right.

I couldn't find one to keep my octa core CPU cool with all 8 cores at 100%. I do that often when building software, too. This cooler does the job! It does require a large case, though. It's big!
