I was looking for a good used mirrorless camera. I spent a lot of time researching before I picked this one. The main competitors were the Sony A6300, Olympus OM-D EM10 Mark II, and Canon EOS M50. I ruled out the Olympus because I wanted a bigger sensor than their four-thirds. I choose the M5 over the M50 because it had more manual controls. In the end I decided that the Sony was the better camera but cost 50% more than the M5. I picked the M5 because I believed it to be the best value overall and I am happy with my purchase.

I was supposed to receive the camera later than expected but I got it earlier. I had no difficulties using the camera. The lens is great. The body is great. Everything is in perfect condition.

I used the original eos m and loved it. When this came out I wanted it so bad but couldn't afford it. Now that I have one it's exactly what I thought. Great auto focusing. Nice touch screen smooth operation and discreet for street photos. Paired with a 22mm f2 this is super good for capturing the moment. Get a ef to efm adapter and use all you gave lenses and you're good to go.

Camera kit didn't come with all of the items listed in the ad. I am missing the EF- EF-M adapter, the extra batteries or battery, and the UV filter. The camera was advertised in being in like new condition although everything else seems to work perfectly, the rear LCD screen is scratched.

The Canon M5 is a fantastic tool to help you achieve great photos. The camera will do some of the work but you must know what you're doing to achieve those great photos. Once understood it is definitely easy to use but I as a professional would not recommend it to a beginner.
