The chops are just what I need to get to the next level. Buzz is an extremely smooth player and can get you moving on some wicked cool rhythm chops. There’s chord voicings I will need to spend serious time on. C#m9 tchords that the voicing is hard to pull off. Will def work you over and make you a better player. I need to spend a lot of time with this! he’ll get you out of your rut. Great pull on fills and feel. Guitar definitely sounds great a half step down. Tuning is right on. pdf is accurate and you’re gonna spend a lot of time looking at it.Hope he puts more stuff out, would buy in a heartbeat

As a beginning funk player I bought this to improve my rhythm technique. Playing a steady 16th note pace is easy, but Buzz gives you some good insights into how to vary your technique to add more texture. He offers what I would call intermediate level instruction and even moves into some advanced jazz style chords. A beginner will need the PDF tab that comes on the disc in order to keep up. Most of the "party funk" guitar I hear played by local bands sounds flat and predictable. This DVD shows you how to avoid being monotonous.
this is a must for every rhythm guitar player who needs to know how to do it by a top class first call studio and live musician, looking to the hands playing slowly like a private one on one lesson. Thanks Buzz,i'd like more of this for the future, keep it up!
