When Sarah, the Duchess of York, first wrote "Budgie, the Little Helicopter" for her baby, Beatrice, I was fascinated. I had written some children's books for my small children, but couldn't find a publisher and I guess I envied her. I had heard her writing had not set well with the royal family, but she did it anyway. I was SO proud of her! I read the story to my children and they loved it. Some years later, I saw some of the Budgie toys that had been made because of her books,on sale in a store. I hadn't been aware they even existed and I bought them. I have kept them and the book in pristine condition. One box of the toys, I let my grandchildren open and play with, but the others have never been out of the boxes. When I saw this book in a lot of three books by the Duchess, I just had to add them to my collection. They are in excellent condition and I am thrilled with them. They are such cute stories and I know my grandchildren will love them, too. I admire Sarah because she is her own woman - she is so creative and talented and even though she must be trememdously busy, she used some of that to create fascinating stories for children. They are wonderful children's books written by a wonderful, caring mother.Read full review
