I thoroughly love Blackberry phones and enjoy the new ones each time. The Passport takes a bit of getting used to holding it when typing, but the wider screen makes for better visual for eyes, the ease of going from one app to another and being able to get something back right away is awesome. Good camera. Over all, I am pleased. Battery takes some time to warm up. The device was getting very hot at the beginning, but I see this when downloading a lot. After downloads, it cools and works normally. It is a heavier phone, but no heavier than an iPhone. Definitely a conversation piece. I look forward to Blackberries new models.
Thank you for allowing me this opportunity to share my opinion on this topic. For the last 20+ years I can remember using "THE CELL PHONE" I have always gravitated towards the phones that made texting much easier. When Blackberry 1st introduced itself on the scene, I took to it and never let go. They just kept making their device easier and easier plus fun to use. Without all the games and apps this phone still made communication more fun. Constructed with new technology and design incorporated with the max battery life ive ever experienced in a phone Period. Last is the 1 to 1 screen Ratio that makes viewing optimal, Blackberry Passport is by far the best phone for me!

In 2018, after not using my passport for 2 and a half years because the battery finally gave out on it (it was ran over in a street for an entire day and still worked for over 6 months after! I only had to replace a cracked screen that was still usable!!!! That is saying something about how strong this phone was), I started using a Samsung note for a while that I just never could get over not having a keyboard. I begrudgingly went back to blackberry, but the Priv... That phone was terrible. It locked up, overheated, and being an ATT phone had issues with updates not coming thru because I was on prepaid. I love the slider function, but terrible phone. I went back to my old Passport. It was love at long lost. I LOVE THIS BLACKBERRY PASSPORT PHONE. For a little more than a year, this phone has been a work horse AGAIN and done more than I need a phone to do. I ditched all those apps that were cluttering my life. I went back to just texting and phone calls. And emails. Even did the work around to get whatsapp on my phone to communicate to my international friends. Just a basic solid phone. This phone does those things overall marvelously. It did not have the dreaded slow down that other phones seem to have with those push updates from apple or android. It just worked. The dreaded SOS sims issue popped up two weeks ago. I went back and forth about upgrading to the Key2 or buying a 'new' passport. I ordered a Key2. The phone is set to arrive today. Yet, here I am looking at a Passport to purchase. Because I love this phone that much. I wish blackberry would update the operating system to android, and re-release this phone. I am unsure why they wont. Literally is the best phone they ever made. If you just want a phone, with a keyboard... and you are looking at this in 2019. Just buy it. There is no other phone that is as rugged and handles emails like this phone. None. Read full review

Love the large qwry Keyboard, large screen, loud stereo speakers, and love BB10. I don't need all the apps :) The antenna is better on the Passport than on the new Keyone and I can text so much faster! The White version is a beautiful addition to my Passport SE!
