Solid, Smaller & Cute :)
I can't give this device 5 starts, and it's my first time to have BB, I have seen many, but, this rocks, smaller and elegant, I found some hard times dealing with it, and if you are a extensive user it's basic features may not fill of your requests, I brought some software, and it makes BB really different, but, when I come to compare the Software price with IPhone or Android software, it's very expensive or you will have to wait for some promotions if you want to get it cheaper.
other than that, the Phone is cool, has many features that I liked such as searching contacts and the integration with email and sms, plus, when you put the phone into it's hostler it locks and when you take it off, it unlocks automatically, so, no need to push the power button to unlock it.
but, when you come to internet browsing, it's very very basic browser, as if it comes from 5 years ago when I first seen internet browsing on a mobile (my personal experience, but, I know it was there even before).
Desktop Manager is the software you have to install on your PC in order to sync with your BB, it's a Java based, which is some how slower than other softwares such Nokia, Samsung, Microsoft and others.
Writing on the BB bold 9700, isn't an easy task, because, it has smaller keys, and it may take a while in order to get used to it, but, still I love the keys shapes which make it easier to write because, you will feel each key with different curve and make it easier for you to write, but, a little piece of advice, if you have FAT fingers, you will find it harder than me :D.
but, again, it's a very nice and portable device.
