Love the light itself, its just not the exact shape of the cab and doesn't seal at the bottom. I did take it through an auto car wash and then took the light back out after to see if there was any moisture getting in, and to my surprise. It was completely dry. Decent product, looks amazing, light output it amazing. Just the seal part for me. Would definitely recommend for the price.

I would have done better to spend my money on LED replacement bulbs for the factory housing. This replacement part, while being a direct swap for factory does not quite seem to sit right. I have not yet tested to see if it has sealed properly or not. It looks as if it is sitting correctly, but it's just awkward. The light output is probably 1/100 of the factory incandescent. I honestly don't know if this light will even qualify as legal. If it wasn't for the fact that it is already late night, I think I would put the factory light back in place. As a matter of fact, I will be putting the factory light back in place as soon as I get home from work tomorrow. I'd ask for a refund, but they would want the product returned, and quite simply, that's just not fair to the next guy. This needs to be in the garbage. Maybe I'll get lucky enough for a refund and still be able to trash this...Read full review

The 12 volt male plug from the lite did not fit to the trucks female plug on the truck. The reason was there are 2 ribs on the bottom of the male plug that are on wrong side, ie: left hand side. Trucks female plug the grooves for the ribs are on right hand side. To make it fit, remove the ribs on male plug, fits in trucks plug now. 2nd problem was lite mounts on flat surface, the 2016-F150 third light mount has a radius in that area. With lite placed on truck, top is tight but has a 1/4 inch gap from center left and right about 3 inches each side. to fix, add 1/4 inch foam tape to that area whice fills in gap so water and dust does not get in. This is not hard to do, but being plug & play product not that good.

You get what you pay for, it's a $30 brake light. It looks good, mine works good. Install was a pain in the rear but that was partly my fault. Those pins to push out to get to where you're connecting the light wouldn't push out if my life depended on them. Once out, simply unplug the old and plug in the new right? Wrong. The plug on this light needs some modifications to work with the factory plug. I am not mechanically inclined and I was in a hurry, so I just cut the two rivet things on the plug on the new light, and then was able to plug it in to the factory plug. Also, I'm predicting that this will end up getting dust or water in it with time, it just feels cheap. Would I recommend this item? Yes, if you're just looking for something cheap to make your truck look a little better. Don't expect it to be a quick plug and play item either. Maybe I'll be surprised and this is going to be a really good quality light, if not, atleast it's only ~$30 so I can just keep replacing it if it falls under my standards over time.Read full review

Opening the box and getting the first look at the light it looks good until you start to install and realize the seal that mates to the cab of the truck is way too thin and in some areas doesn't even touch the cab an would for sure leak water into your cab, second the plug that goes into you factory harness doesn't match, the alignment grooves are opposite so that needs to be modified, after all the hurdles are jumped through after all the modification you hit the lights and notice that the LEDs are very poor in quality some brighter than others and some look on the verge of burning out any second. Save your time and money, it's not worth messing something up on a 40+k dollar vehicle.
