After much comparing the different brands I went with the more affordable Avon brand as they had the features I was looking for plus the matching shifter and foot pegs with the same features as the hand grips

Had to modify the clutch side grips stops. We’re a little o er 180deg. Shaved a little off both sides and fit like a glove. (09 HD FDXF) there definitely a smaller diameter. If you need the fat HD grip feel of the stock grips, just get the stock grips. These are comparable thinner but longer. Will be fine with gloves in the cool season. Not a bad purchase. Yeah, I’d recommend them. Why not?

Reasonably priced and comfortable. However, I did have to remove about 1/4 inch of the left hand grip's inner shoulder to get the housing back together. Used a Dremel cut off disc and it doesn't have to look pretty since it goes inside the switch housing.

High quality grips at a reasonable price. Nice anodized aluminum with a soft, but firm, silicone rubber grip surface. Awesome feeling in the hands, great looking and high quality... what more could you ask for in a motorcycle grip?

Highly recommend these Avon grips. Installed on Sportster, perfect fit. Look sick. Half the cost of HD or Performance Machine grips and a little narrower so no hand fatigue on long runs.
