I had an ugly Chinese rotatable for a few years. Got a lot of stations but you never know where it is pointing as those have no indicator and HD makes it difficult to tune right. Plus it had glitches. I decided to try Omni and forget all that. This antenna works about as well as the Chin. in all directions. Did a new scan with this up in same place on roof and gained some channels but lost two or three. I am sort of fringe area to the cities. If you are within 20 or 30 miles of stations def. leave the Chin rotors issue and go with this one. Some of my stations are 40+ miles. Only issue is switching power supply wall wart seems to cause some radio interference so I will have to unplug it to use AM radio. BTW my ant. coax is pretty long too. I don't know how much loss that adds after the ant. amp. Seal the antenna connector good if you use it outdoors.Read full review

Maybe I was expecting too much reading some of the reviews. In my case, I did not get more channels, I actually got less channels than my table top "Rabbit Ears". To say the least I am disappointed. The only positive is I got rid of the unsightly table top rabbit ears.

Installs easy , looks good , performed well , then came rain and wind , the reception started breaking up. Is it the weather messing up the signal ? My old cheap antenna , did good , I wanted one to set and forget , not one I have to rotate , thus 360 degree reception. Jerry

Super 360 degree antenna that works great receiving all channels without needing to readjust.

Unit works well in perfect weather only, rain puts a film of water over unit and causes loss of signal for all stations including 3 local stations. My old UHF did not have this failure; otherwise, unit works very well with a strong receiving signal!
