Pros ~ Decent price for all the goodies that come with it. Is compatible with my HP desktop computer / 65" Vizio LED monitor for great surround sound. I can pipe my 5.1 external and my 2 monitor internal speakers through it. Gives good surround sound. Cons ~ Was difficult to configure and use with my computer / monitor / blue ray. I had help help from Best Buy (I have a contract with them for this stuff), and with the Pioneer Tech Support folks also. I spent about 25 hours (no, I am not exaggerating) getting everything set up the way I wanted it. Many of the tech guys and girls simply did not have the training to do what I was asking of them, even when they took control of my computer thru Remote Desktop and viewed the problems themselves. Several of them simply stated that it could not be done. Well, it IS done, and they were wrong. I just kept calling back until I could get true surround sound through all of my speakers. Well, that's the review. I give this system five stars for performance. If I was going to rate the "hooking it up" part, I would not be so generous. Are you patient? Then go for it.
