Ordered this with new HDMI cables and everything was great for about a month. After that it would randomly drop signal for a few seconds then come back. Another month down and the signal would drop, pick up and drop again adding a power adapter to the switch gave it 2 more months of life. Then last month one of the channels on the switch gave out completely. Here we are now and another channel has gone dead and i've gone back to using an older switch that has only 3 inputs but blows this one away.

I got tired of the last 3 different splitters that used those annoying circle batteries. This device has a remote that takes AAA batteries and works perfectly. If you are a tech guy like me, do not look anywhere else I already did that with 3 others. If you have detailed questions message me and I'll tell you what I know.

Works perfectly. If you're only using this to switch between HDMI sources rather than plugging say a Fire Stick into it then you don't need a power supply.

Says it doesn't need a power supply and wouldn't turn on. But once I started up the playstation it worked. Needed something plugged into #1. So far so good
