These tires fit wonderfully but they are supposed to be very very tight to ensure no loss of traction. Imagine them just like your car tires, it would be bad if they easily popped on and off. Use the tool, follow the instructions, and the C-clamp portion is absolutely essential at least for me! A little persistence and you have high end tires that will last years.

Such a cool color. But more importantly, they work great. I have had them on my 12' saw for a month or so now and really like them. They were very easy to put on, after soaking them in very hot water for 10 minutes. I practiced on the top wheel and then did the lower wheel. I did not remove the wheels from the bandsaw frame, so it was a bit tight to get the clamps onto the lower wheel. However, the bands stretch perfectly when soaked in very hot water.

Great fit. Glad to be able to get this product. Suggestion; A tool is supplied with these belt to help install them on the wheel, however, it has a nail head on the end which makes it harder to get the tool out when the entire belt is put in place. Solution; use a Phillips head medium size screw driver and when you get to the end and the entire belt is on the wheel, simply pull the screw driver shaft out and it won't hang on the nail head at the end of the installation tool. Happy to know I can get this belt should I need them again. Many thanks.

Far superior to the original. One review said they were very difficult to install. FOLLOW the instructions and use the provided tool. The bottom wheel ( sheave ) goes on much easier if you remove it from the bandsaw .

I've had,for years,the old Sears type tires on my band saw.I was never happy with the performance of my band saw. I ordered the Blue Max Urethane tires and they made a world of difference !! A little hard to get on,but it can be done and well worth the effort.
