Shame i can't add pictures. They are not even close to a sharp point, you need a grinder to get them started before the sharpening process . The actual metal part of the chisel is bowed and i dont mean in terms of flatness, from the handle to the point is curved. And the finish..... well..... They look like they have been done with a 12" bastard file!!! Run a mile. I thought i could get some cheap chisels and spend time honing them, but its a lost cause really. Go and buy the powerfix ones, much better and youtube paul sellers!!

These chisels are very very cheap so my expectations weren't high but even then, I was disappointed. The steel is OK so they can be sharpened properly but not only were my chisels rusty when they arrived, they had clearly been made by hand in a hurry. It's obvious that each of them was ground by hand by an unskilled labourer using a grinding wheel and with no attempt at symmetry. I am no metalworker but I reckon I could make something better than this with 20 minutes practice. If you know how to sharpen a chisel and are prepared to spend a long time getting a proper edge on them, they would work for a while and they are as cheap as it gets but if you are after something that you intend to keep using, look elsewhere.

They didn't look new, with grime and the meal ring around the top rusting. They were about as sharp as my bolster chisel and I had to use all for to hang one door. I had hoped they would of lasted that long but they were very poor. I suppose you really do get what you pay for..

I have never come across such poor quality tools as these. Even the low end products sold by Woolworths in the 1960s were better. The only use for these would be to prise off paint tin lids.
