I have had mine since 1978 in 2015 it quit working took it to my local guy it needed a 1 cap.1 transistor. he told me this was first in line and the others had the right value still. I asked that he replace the two with the best quality parts. Now he wants one for himself that should tell you a lot. I think I paid 60.00 to have it fixed and 199.00 new. Thirty seven years one small problem. I would buy one unless you like to hear you speakers down at the tennis court when playing from the front room.

It is a good amp but not a great amp. Good clarity, controlled bottom end but not deep and pace is good but not excellent. All that, I still like listening to jazz and classical on it, more than a long list of others. .
