Wish I had bought this years ago, works great, What a time saver. Use as directed and you will not be disappointed with it. If you cut more than 1/4 inch thick, than maybe consider a bigger unit. Only needs an air compressor about 60 psi , no expensive gas bottles. Buy extra consumables as you will use it more than you think . So far, great little unit. If possible use on 220 ac instead of 110 ac cuts much better and faster. PS: Make sure you wait for fan to turn off before turning off unit.

First, let me state that I'm a former MIL-SPEC welder with numerous other certifications including ASME, AWS, etc. This is a hobby plasma cutter and is appropriately priced, but NOT a workhorse or a cutter that you can depend on. After two uses and out of warranty, the machine started making loud snapping noises while not engaged. I would not recommend this product and go with a more expensive reliable machine. Lincoln is top of the line and you pay for that, HTP is also an option. Good luck

It cut 1/2" steel for me quite well. It has a cheap water seperator and regulator and comes without a hose to install it. was easy to put a 220 amp plug on it but the directions could be alot better, in fact the don't help much at all. For what it costs it is a good machine for the occasional user.

This is a quality built plasma cutter. Awful instructions. If you have knowledge of using a plasma cutter etc. it will all fall in place for you, as you study the parts lay out. It says It will find the correct voltage for you, 120V or 220V, you will have to purchase and install the plug for your choice of voltage. The wiring colors are confusing using 120V, the wires are Blue and Brown for L1 and L2 of the 220V, common will be the spaded Green and Yellow striped. This is for the 220V. Using the 120V, there is a possibility of a miss wire and burn out of the machine. I recommend going with the 220V for simplicity of the wiring and maximum output of the machine. If the instructions were more clear, then 120V would probably not be a problem. The Plasma Machine is great and does what it is suppose to do....................Read full review
