We charge several items in our house, including 2 phones, a camera and a tablet. Before I got this Anker charger, we had chargers everywhere, and they seemed to be slow, slow, slow! This charger works much faster and seems to do it safely. Nothing (including the charger itself) get very warm. My Samsung phone will normally charge in a couple of hours or 3 hours at the most. There's two outlet, so you can charge two things at a time. Charging two things at once seems to slow it down a little, but not much. As chargers go, this one actually looks kinda nice. Bottom line is that it works and I'm glad I bought it!

Tired of waiting for that itty-bitty Apple wall charger to recharge your iPhone's battery? You know the one. About 1" square? It puts out 5.1 watts. Get one of these with 24 watt output. It will NOT damage your phone or internal components. What it WILL do is cut your charging time in half. I can charge my 6s+ from 1% to 100% in about 2 hours, 10 minutes. Check out Anker's website if you don't believe me. I did. I'm sold on their product line. Even their Apple approved charge cords. In lengths of 3, 6, & 10 feet. "No incompatible warnings" that you get with those cheaper China mfg. cords. Two thumbs up!!!

I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 phone and a Samsung 10.5" tablet (TM-800 I think). Both devices ship with Samsung high output chargers that put out 2 amps. This Anker charger has two high output ports that match the Samsung OEM chargers, making them just as fast as the Samsung chargers. The Anker is handy for travel because it only requires one wall plug and both ports are high output. Many other dual chargers only have a single high output port. The literature says something about a maximum 2.4 amp output, but that seems more advertising hype than anything else since the Anker is rated at 5V 2A. If you already have 2 amp chargers for your devices, the Anker won't be faster, but it is a fast charger, and I would recommend it if that's what you need.

The Anker PowerPort 2 charger is a very useful adapter. It offers 2 charging ports (USB) for many different devices. i like that the output is 2.4 amps per port. This allows me to charge the devices that require higher outputs. It is a great value and operates without overheating.

I love this little charger, so lite but powerful. The little blue light turns green when it is charging normaly, but turns back to blue when charging is almost complete. Only got 1 over charge all month (battery doctor) and only because I left it overnight. Don't pass this one by what ever you do...
