My husband and I just watched this documentary. Being a big Elvis fan since I was at least in the 3rd grade, I remembered Dolores Hart from several movies but, especially Elvis'! Approximately 9 years ago I learned that she had become a nun. The fact that she was such a beautiful woman and great actress that would give up Hollywood to follow GOD gave me complete respect for her. I heard she also gave up a romance but until I saw this documentary, I never felt this ache in my heart for the man who still loves her. I believe they still have a pure unconditional love. I also believe she has proven her love for our LORD in a way many of us cannot know! This documentary is beautiful. We weren't ready for it to end.

Wonderful documentary of an actress who chooses a different career path than most major stars. At the height of her career and while engaged to a businessman from Hollywood, Dolores Hart feels a calling to join a Benedictine monastery in Connecticut giving up a wedding date and a studio contract in the early 1960's. Now, fifty years later, she shows how her decision benefits both Hollywood and her erstwhile fiance. Truly an inspirational story.
