I bought the Grand Lash Primer that is recommended to be used with this product. FYI I love the primer because i feel it actually strengthen your existing lashes. Using the primer with the mascara gives extreme length. I only apply one coat because any more makes my lashes look un naturally long, but if you want the long lash look you can apply as many coats as you like. Removal is really easy too, it comes off with barely any pressure. I take mine off by wiping my eye as i would a tear. I did have some smudge off when i was in class. I was teary eyed(from dust) at the time and did some major eye rubbing..and it barely rubbed off even then. The only reason this received good and not excellent is that it didnt thicken my lashes as I hoped it would.
I love this mascara, have been using it for years! I've even gone as far as to give samples to my friends, that's how enthousiastic I am. The coolest thing about it, is that (apart from not smudging)all you need to take it off is water! So no more carrying bottles of remover around, no more rubbing hard to get the stuff off your lashes! The only thing I did not like about Blinc, is that it does not seem to add any length or curl to my eyelashes. The other day however, I took a brush from another brand of mascara, and after cleaning it I used it to apply Blinc. And that finally gave me the lash-effect I wanted! So all in all, Blinc is great stuff, but it could do with a better brush.
I really like this mascara. It's cruelty-free, which is important to me, and it wears well on my extremely oily skin. My lashes are straight and on the short side, and I wear contact lenses. Blinc mascara lengthens decently, but doesn't impart a lot of volume; if you want a high-drama mascara, you might not care for this. However, Blinc mascara goes on smoothly, with no clumping, and holds a curl well. Over a good primer, this mascara can give you pitch-black (if that's the shade you choose) cleanly-defined lashes, and, perhaps best of all, no "raccoon eyes." Because of my very oily skin, conventional mascaras typically end up smudging under my eyes in short order. Blinc is the only mascara I can rely upon to stay where I put it all day, even on my lower lashes. It has become my "go-to" mascara.Read full review
I wanted to try this mascara for a long time because I used to use Mirenesse, which had the same "tube" concept. (It was discontinued) I ordered a sample of Blinc and was totally underwhelmed. My lashes are thin and short and straight. In my youth, they were pretty nice, but old age, cancer and thyroid problems have taken their toll. This mascara has NO volumizing effect at all. I use the old Chanel Lash Primer which was the best ever made, but it has been discontinued, also. So I had some thickening from the primer, but this mascara also straightened my lashes after I used my Shu Uemera lash curler. It didn't even give much length, but the worst thing was that when I realized it wasn't doing anything, I tried to use my Lancome Hypnose Drama mascara and it would not adhere to my lashes after I applied the Blinc. I think this mascara would be OK if one has thick, long lashes to being with, but otherwise I would advise passing on this one. It was also hard to get off! Warm water alone DIDN'T WORK.Read full review
I have used this product for a few years now. It coats your eyelashes forming a tube over them which makes them appear thicker and longer. I am most sold on the mascara removal process. The mascara comes off easily with water and slight pressure - no greasy or messy makeup removers need to be purchased or used. This product is not for someone who is going to be swimming or crying alot as it is obviously not water proof.
