I put this in the AC distribution panel box of an RV. At the same time I installed the more expensive but certified EKM-15 watt-hour meter. There is less than 0.04% difference between the two readings. (By turning off breakers I discovered just how inefficient my RV two-way fridge is - 150 Kwh per month compared to less than 50 Kwh for my old compressor fridge.) If you want to install this in an RV with 50 Amp circuits, I think you will need two CT's even if the service at the post is only 30 Amp. I realized this when I installed an EKM in my neighbour's 50 Amp RV. If there is a long run between the utility meter and your location such as a trailer park site (300 feet in my case), remember that some power will be lost so your reading could be 10% or more lower than the utility bill. This meter convinced me to order the DC version for tracking battery charge and discharge, apparently I'll need two, one for charge and one for discharge.Read full review
