This zune has more than enough space for me, has an easy to navigate interface and is very easy to load songs onto. I have even downloaded a few games and screen savers onto it.. it is very easy to personalize AND you can listen to your own music while you play the games; which i thought was pretty cool. The only thing I don't like about it, and it is a very small thing, is that the buttons are also touch sensitive.. it is a cool feature and makes it easy to swoosh through menus but when I am using it in the car it always seems to accidently get touched. Overall this zune is an "A" product and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a cool, easy to use mp3 player
But the Zune 8gb is real easy to operate. However, I was hoping that it had a way to set the sound, eg., Rock, Jazz, Pop, etc. There might be a way to do it thru the Zune website, if you don't mind taking awhile to navigate thru all the "extra" and "great" stuff that maybe younger generations like to "play" with. Fyi, if your USB doesn't recognize your Zune, it needs restarted by holding the back key and the up at the same time. Other than that, like I said, once your software is downloaded, it's real simple to load music, which is what I bought mine for, so I can't review the other areas such as video. I loaded over 1047 songs and still had a little more than 1.5 gb left. Some of the songs I loaded are long, so that reduces the amount of songs that can sync. Be sure to get a cover to help protect your Zune, either rubber or hard clear plastic, depends on how you will listen to it. I use the rubber because I do alot of mowing, and it also has an armband with it.Read full review
I purchased my Zune used on e-Bay. The unit was like brand new when I received it. I bought this to be used on my motorcycle. This is my second Zune purchase, my other Zune is a 80gb. But the 80gb has a non-digital hard drive that wouldn't take the vibrations & bumps very well while riding the motorcycle. So I bought the 8gb unit, because it's a digital hard drive instead. Are Zune's perfect?? No they are not. But there are plenty of blogs & websites that you can go to, to help you through any "Zune Issues" that you may encounter. Zune's also have FM stereo's built-in, so that's a bonus too!!
Ok now I know that everyone is looking towards ipods and ipads and everything that has an i in front of it, but Microsoft has come up with a strong contender when it comes to the mp3 market. The Zune product is a great product in my opinion because its affordable! I am a guy that just want an mp3 player that plays music and every now and again be able to watch a video. I'm not a fan of buying apps and having to get a card just for music. The zune is easy access and easy to use. Second great feature (for my xbox360 players) it can connect to your Xbox360 and play music from their WHILE CHARGING YOUR ZUNE! This product is great for the music lover, and its on the go. I play it with my headphones, i can hook it up to my car, i can do many things with the zune. Now when they make waterproof zunes, im all in so i can go swimming and jammin at the same time, but until then, this is where its at! Great product at a great price!Read full review
Compatable with so many music video and picture file types. Sync time is VERY slow to the point where it is painful to wait for the thing to put music files on it. I love it compared to my Ipod (8 GB) because it has an fm radio and can connect to computers and my xbox 360 wirelessly which is pretty cool. I also find it easier to navigate through the menus compared to my Ipod. The screen is deceptively small. It looks big when you see a picture of it but its smaller than it looks. But i still like it.
