As a UK resident, I can’t even begin to describe how hard it’s been to track these gloves down. Finding these here and being able to ship to the UK was an absolute life saver. The pricing wasn’t extortionate like other sites and the gloves are perfect. They fit perfectly and feel great. Super thankful for this seller selling these at an affordable price and shipping to the UK.

    Combat Boot Zippers

I remember my first pair of jungle boots issue at Coronado Amphibious Base San Diego, before I was deployed to Vietnam in 1968. I bought the zippers and installed them as well. They sure came in handy, getting your boots off after a long day in the field. Today it's just a memory to own a new pair of boots and zippers. They were great then and are still a good buy and worth every penny! Vietnam Vet

  • Top critical review

    Poor quality, don't bother.

I give this 2 stars as when I laced up the onto my government issue jungle boots, the eyelets don't match up, making what should be an easy job a difficult and ugly one. Furthermore, when tightening up the laces for a good, snug fit, one of the metal eyelets just popped right off and is now floating around on the lace, leaving the zipper portion open to ripping. I can repair this with some time and expense, but don't think I will bother. I'll wear these until they become completely useless and go back to just lacing my boots up the regular way. Lesson learned. Do not recommend.

  • Little better than garbage.

The zipper is plastic and easily binds. It's sewn into Faux leather that is so soft and stretchy that the eyelets pull right out as soon as any tension is applied. If you lace them firmly enough to provide moderate ankle support they fall apart. The price was $8.50 plus $3.00 shipping which should have alerted me to what I was getting. My advice is buy a set of Danner Boots lace in zippers. They are made of high quality leather with solidly installed eyelets and a YKK zipper. admittedly pricey at $34.00 but you get something that will last for years rather than minutes.

  • Didn't last very long.

Being former military, I had seen other guys with this type of getup on their boots, so I decided to try it. Unfortunately, they aren't very sturdy, only plastic or something, and after only a couple of weeks, the zippers broke and I couldn't fix it. It's a great idea, but the quality of this particular set of boot zippers isn't that good.

  • Enjoying my boots again

I got tired of lacing boots for the last 40+ years every time I wear them, but they do serve me well. I've probably gone through 6 or 7 pairs in that time frame. These zippers make putting them on & off a breeze. Now I can easily slip the boots on or off with loosening all the laces every time. The zippers are definitely commercial/military grade and of superb quality. My only complaint was that it took a while to figure out how to lace them on the boot... perhaps I was just too eager to get 'em on and try them out. I wish I would have bought these years ago. Thanks for a GREAT product!
