The Zildjian A cymbal, in my opinion, is still the best all round cymbal in any size. Not too bright like the A customs...not too dark like the K. I will say that they are harder to keep clean, but if you clean regularly, they will not get very dirty.

What is there to say about a Zildjian K Dark Thin Crash? I'm writing this review to just say, it lived up to the hype. I love my Zildjian A Thin Crash, but am playing some more jazz and combo stuff and have picked up some Ks. This one was the 16" and I own the 19" as well depending on the volume I need for a gig. Got a good deal on an auction and look forward to playing it for decades to come.

This is a great cymbal. It has a bright tone and medium decay. It works well in small rooms.

I'll venture to say that Zildjian's A series is, despite being one of the most played line of cymbals in history, underrated. It is the vanilla ice cream of cymbals. Sure, there are lots of other exciting flavors that one could choose from--but As are arguably the best for most situations. Whatever concerns I've had in the past with "modern" Zildjians being "gongy" or not as "explosive" or "shimmering" as As of my youth, are gone. This cymbal exceeded my expectations and is absolutely beautiful.

What can I say zildjian cymbals are the best. I only use premium zildjian cymbals you get what you pay for.
