Installed this in 10 minutes on my Mac and was up and running. Easily saves 1-2 minutes per label over laser printer. Print speed is fast. Just make sure you modify your print settings for the label printer in eBay's print settings. Super awesome value especially if you find one gently pre-owned.

What I liked about this printer is the printing speed, rugged construction and cheap supplies. I was about to buy a Brother QL-570 to print shipping labels. It is a cheap model suitable for a small office or home office (in my opinion). But when I found out that one roll of labels (DK 1201 with 400 labels) would cost about US$ 20,00 (in Brazil only. In the US it is about US$ 8.00) I decided to go for the Zebra TLP 2844. Both allows Direct Thermal printing for regular labels that don't have to last longer, but the Zebra also do Thermal Transfer for durable printings. It also prints wider labels: 4.25" (zebra) versus 2.4" (brother) giving more label options. The used TLP 2844 that I bought costed way more than a new QL-570, but the rugged construction, reliability, wider labels and cheaper supplies worth the price difference.Read full review
