I got this to use as a grain fill on a mahogany electric guitar body. A little goes a long way, to say the least. I found out the hard way that it must be applied very thin. Since I am using it as a grain fill only, I have to sand back down to bare wood. Once it sets up, it is very hard. I sands well, but it takes a lot of sanding. I had a run, which has proven very difficult to remove. Scraping with a single edge razor blade works well. The mix ratio doesn't seem to be too critical, and guessing at the mix by eye seems to work. Though it might take more than one coat on some very porous woods, one is sufficient for mahogany. I am not a woodworking pro, but this product seems to fill the bill of a grain/pore filler. The main thing to remember is to apply it very thin, working it into the grain, and as evenly as possible.Read full review

The head came off of my axe, that has a fiberglass handle. The head and handle are in good shape still, so I needed some epoxy resin to reattach the head to the handle, and this product (Zap Z-Poxy Finishing Resin) did an excellent job. The head is firmly reattached to the handle now. Again, great product.
