This bodyweight exercises in the book are better done if on the floor so chances of injury will not happen or a machine like a jackrack or rack will do excellent bodyweight exercises at least for me and don't forget the on the floor exercises but you will have to use a lot of variations still just as good.

This book is very worthwhile for anyone who is looking to work themselves into better physical condition without spending a fortune on equipment or going to a gym. Mr. Lauren has years of experience working with military trainees and he and his co-author do a great job of explaining his programs and the reasoning that went into developing them. I have begun working with the Basic Program, which is the beginners' program, and even though it's only about 20-25 minutes long four days a week, I can definitely feel it when I do these exercises! If you're looking to lose some unwanted pounds and build up some strength, I definitely recommend this book.
Bodyweight exercises are the most functional type of strength exercises. This book shows so many ways to strength train using just your body. I enjoy how the book is organized into different parts of the body.
