I do like this workout, how it gives you extra pointers on yoga. It in my opinion is not very hard. I really don't get a big cardio workout from it. If you want a tougher cardio yoga try Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders yoga, The Biggest Loser Yoga, or Jillian Michaels yoga Meltdown. Those are what I call cardio yoga. This workout has 20 minutes of standing postures, approx. 12 minutes of floor postures, and a VERY SHORT 2 minute stretch. I am a huge fan of Chris Freytag that is the main reason I purchased this. If it weren't for me liking her I probably wouldn't care for this workout a lot. This is definitely an easier cardio yoga workout.
This is a great dvd for cardio and yoga strength training! It's broken into two sections so you can either do both the standing yoga workout or the mat workout, or combine both for a great workout in 39 minutes. I was skeptical that it would get my hearrate up and help boost my metabolism but it really did! I've been using it for almost a month, combined with the pilates video, walking and a sensible diet and have lost 6 lbs! The yoga is great for flexibility and muscle control, but also keeps you moving so u burn calories! I would recommend that people be familiar with basic yoga moves before starting this dvd bc it does speed up basic yoga moves for calorie burning. But you could practice with the video for awhile and then do it on a regular basis just fine. I really enjoyed it and find it fairly easy and fast to go through. I do skip some moves if time is tight or I just dont feel up to it. But overall it's a gread workout and very efficient. The tips and challenges it offers are great too, just as are offerred in all "Dummies" series dvd's. Great workout and buy! Some yoga moves that I like are missing that's why I didn't rate it Excellent.Read full review

Uses normal yoga moves, but at a pace and procedure that gets your heart pumping. Even with working out regularly, I found myself hurting in places I had never hurt before (and it was a good hurt). This is a good change of pace when taking a day off from running or working out. Excellent tool. What I didn't like was it was only two workouts. I would have like to have more variation in the workout.
