The guitar was actually better then i thought. Packaging was amazing. Sturdy large box, the guitar was wrapped with bubble wrap and lots of packaging paper stuffed all around the guitar. The price was very fair and I'm going to find a local guitar Luthier who can fix and dial in all the adjustments. I'm very pleased with my purchase. This guitar will give me years of playing it.

This 1969 Yamaha FG-230 is a fine, if underrated, 12-string of the famous "red label" era of Yamaha guitar production... Even though Yamaha received much ridicule in Southern California, this was an extremely well-built production guitar... This one does require a neck reset for really optimal playability, and I will perform this work sometime... I also will be adding a maple overlay to the interior bridgeplate, along with shaving or "rounding off"the two large transverse braces in the lower portion of the back. I have done this work on a number of these guitars for other players, and now I finally have one if my own...
