Bought this Xbox one S bundle and compared prices . Normally you get the 500 GB version at this price range and not the 1TB version. I recommend the 1 TB version since the operating system requires almost 250 GB, which leaves you with 750GB for games and apps. Enough space for the free games, apps and media. Once connected be aware it will need to download updates and you won't be able to play right out of the box. Even with a 50 MBit fast internet connection it took me 20 minutes for updates and another 30 minutes once you insert the game. Installation with an existing Microsoft account is a breeze, connecting to Wifi is easy, graphic is amazing. This bundle came with a 14 days Xbox Gold code - a plus. Already ordered a 2nd controller and rechargeable docking station for them. Really good deal.Read full review

First off i have a 4K TV that's fully compatible for this system but the graphics are not as mind blowing as I thought. Coming from PS3 I was expecting to be blown away by this system because it's "4K" on some games. Setup took a while because you need a Microsoft account, EA Sports, Xbox Live Gold, etc......Downloads are a must before you can play and it will take hours depending on your internet speed. The so called free games with Xbox Live are just mediocre relics of past gaming systems in my opinion. The most important thing I must say is, "SIZE MATTERS" almost every game is a massive download even with the physical disk and they will need an update that will almost double the size of the original install so get 1TB or larger HD. 6 games installed and I'm at half use on the HD. The controllers are nice but don't come with rechargeable batteries and 2 days in, I had to replace my batteries. MY OVERALL OPINION IS THAT IF YOU ARE NEW TO GAMING YOU SHOULD BUY THIS SYSTEM BECAUSE IT'S A GREAT DEAL AT $239 FOR GEARS OF WAR 1TB.......BUY IT........BYE BYE ;)Read full review

Console came shrink wrapped, and in good condition with a hdmi cable and a power cord. Both the 14 day gold trial and Gears of War code worked. The controller works but had 2 black marks that I can't rub off on the handles, like it was rubbed against a tire or something like that. Overall I cannot complain as it's a good deal for the price, the controller issue is a mild inconvenience though as everything else looks in excellent condition apart from the marks on the controller

I have all consoles and I really like what Microsoft has done here, yes it's just an incremental refresh before Scorpio, but it's so much cleaner and smaller than the original "big box" Xbox One. The external power supply alone, which has now been eliminated, was almost half the size of the Xbox One S. I have a 4K HDR TV so being able to output 4K video for content like Netflix, and HDR in games, is a nice plus - don't forget the 4k DVD player! The bundled controller not only sports a 3.5mm headphone jack, but it has BlueTooth so can be with Windows as well out of the box, as long as your computer has BlueTooth.

I upgraded from an original Xbox one. I don't plan to get the Scorpio. This was a great update. It feels super sturdy and it is a good bit smaller than I was expecting (I know it was like 40% smaller than the original). I have bought directly from Newegg before so I was expecting a good product at a good price. My expectations were met with both. Bonus points for it being delivered a day or so before the estimated arrival date.
