Before he made us hate him throughout the 80's as the Million Dollar Man; remember those great promos on Saturday Night's Main Event? This guy was a phenomenal wrestler with monster moves, tireless, and just a solid foundation wherever he went. Not many can make that claim. Not only did he earn it but he brought it every night and wrestled so many amazing matches, for us! Thanks Ted! God Bless! The Million Dollar belt though...sorry...doesn't cut it! :)
Great book for any wrestling fan from the 80's, 90's, or even today. This tells the story of one of the last great wrestlers to come up through the territory system, and make it big on a national and even world level.
This was a very good read for any wrestling fan. It is an EXCELLENT read for fans that grew up watching The Million Dollar Man like myself. I didn't know he wrestled the territories for so long before he came to the WWF. Must read!!! I also like that is was a easy read. I finished it in about a day and a half.
Ted tells it like it is and I like that.He doesnt dodge the alcohol and drug and steroid abuse that has claimed alot of our compadres.
