My first night in Germany I was sitting in my room reading and charging my little laptop, when all of a sudden there was a loud bang, and the room went black and filled with the toxic smell of burning plastic. The big plug had shorted out, blew the fuse to my room so the desk guy had to put in a new one (much to his displeasure), and burned black in spots. It immediately went into the garbage, which is what it was to begin with.

Took the main transformer out of the box and it fell apart. had to tape it together, this is the first day of use (in Iceland). Seemed to operate ok, but only plugged in a 500 watt rice cooker. Transformer heated up, but to an okay degree. Will not try it on a higher wattage until the day we leave Iceland

First of all i I had to use a knife to pry the converter out of the travel box and once I did the device I had it connected to popped and was ruined. In my opinion it is junk and a waste of money!
