This book was exactly what I was looking for as an experienced swimmer and triathlete looking for swim workouts to add to a running-only training plan in the offseason. There are a lot of workouts included, so I'm sure I'll never get bored. The book also includes structured training plans that assemble the workouts so that a swimmer can reach new goals, but I'm planning to use it a little more casually. Although it has "beginner" workouts, it might be overwhelming for a true beginner - there are only a handful of workouts under 2000 yards and there's a lot of lingo to pick up. It's a good option for anyone who's done at least a season of structured swim workouts, in my opinion.
