If you have played the Max Payne game you'll see a little lack in details. For example, Max Payne, you can shoot and kill your partner or by-standers, not that you'd want to but it adds to the game. Shoot your partner in Wolfenstein, like by accident, nothing happens. Shots that miss your target don't cause damage to the surroundings like in Max Payne. This game has detailed depth but lacks with fine details that add realism.

It is not possible to review this game since it is licensed by Steam. After I downloaded the intrusive Steam app, I was told the license key had been used and cannot be transferred -- even though I own the physical media together with the key card. In other words, once you buy a game from Steam, it cannot under any circumstances be transferred, and the only place for the media is the landfill -- Green Peace take note! Although you can buy and sell virtually any product -- after all it's the foundation of eBay -- Steam refuses to re-license. My suggestion is that eBay should not allow listing of Steam games, perhaps even new ones, because if you search the web for "Steam sucks" you will find many, many problems reported with the practices of this company. There is a way around this: Newegg (also on eBay) sells a copy that does not require the Big Brother of Steam, and is a simple key install -- and of course it can be transferred when you are done with the game. Also note that Steam ignores letters from the Better Business Bureau of Bellevue, WA since that is "not their market area." Read full review

I expected a much better gaming experience from developers like Bethesda and ID in partnership for such a classic title. Certainly more than the 11 or so hours I was able to get, even moving slowly to enjoy the graphics, the story, and to find the upgrades, (such as there were) the documents and such. Good graphics and a pretty gripping story at first, so much potential for what could have been a Great game, and you can have some fun with it. But...The controls can get a little wonky during combat (I don't like the 3 key slide move!!) And too many L-o-o-o-n-g cut scenes with an inadequate and frustrating checkpoint save system. I don't want to get too much into the MANY hours of installation and Steam updates before I could even play, except to say they took almost twice as long as it took me to finish the game!!! This game is a good example of what PC gaming has become over the years since Greed overtook some of these people and their work. It's the reason I read user reviews and wait for prices to go down BEFORE I buy. (ho-rah for e-bay!)But I guess some people are OK with the way we are being "farmed" by these developers today because prices keep going up, and the entertainment value keeps going down! So Sad!Read full review
Got a great price on the game. While I'd tech 5 graphics engine isnt great it's decent and the gameplay is fun..

Shame on me thinking every FPS out there had Multiplayer....lesson learned, what a waste!
