The author, Helen Fisher, wrote on and on about things that are obvious-the jealousy we feel towards potential rivals, for example. And when she wasn't, she was making romanticized claims, such as the "Fire in our souls" that love feels like, the trouble sleeping associated with the feeling. I'm sorry; I'm in love, but it's not constantly on my mind. I'm not 'sick' with it, and never have been. Fisher wrote a romance novel, in essence. Full of cute little stories and dramatic quotes on love. If you're into that, jump. But I would NOT recommend this to anyone who already knows what love is like, because if you know, you know why.
