Previously I have own several battery run digital thermostats and from my electric bills has been very obvious that was fact. Thus far this unit easily adjustable and is maintaining the temperature it was set to without constantly running to cause my electric bill to sky rocket. Sure, have to turn on a light at night if you are adjusting this, but once is done, no worry about failing batteries causing to erratic adjustment to happen. I have gone through constant runs, changing temperatures and cold air coming out of vents. With this one no change in temperature no constant run and always hot air coming out of vents. I could not ask for anything better than this and recommend this product for those that have suffered the same as I have listed above.
