These make nice vintage speakers, and are very solidly built. I originally bought a pair 40+ years ago to use as speakers in my 1965 Ranchero, and they completed a nice system. I recently bought another pair to make a budget surround system in my basement. They still sound nice to my 74 year old ears.

This pair of speakers look like they have been well taken care of, and should last a long time. I think they will complement my surround sound system very well, and should last a long time. Should they go out, the 4 inch woofers are easily replaceable, and the enclosure will live on!

They say you can't judge a book by its cover. The same applies to these speakers. The Minimus 7's are mighty strong speakers that provide clear detailed highs and mid ranges while the lows flow smooth. Very astonishing. When used with a good subwoofer, in a small/ medium size room, with proper power (amp)....a smile will form. Thank Radio Shack.

Classic style, the iconic small speaker from the golden age of speaker design. This was the one to have in a dorm room back in the day. Holds up beautifully with time. Great for surround sound. I bought this one to be a center channel for my Dolby 5.1 system. My rear speakers are a matched pair of these very same speakers! Highs are crisp and clear, lows are nicely punched at high volume (not at all "boomy"). White is a nice clean look.

I have lost count of how many of these speakers I own. I have 5 in my 5.1 surround system which, with a sub, sounds outstanding. Back when these speakers were new, I compared them to Advents that cost several times more. These were better. They image VERY well, the sound stage is deep and location of instruments is precise. The highs are excellent, so is the mid-range, and the lows are quite good and roll off without attempting sounds they cannot reproduce (no distortion or boominess). Add a decent sub woofer (4 inch “woofers” cannot produce the lowest octaves, and these do not attempt to), and you will have a VERY satisfying system. After huge success with these speakers, RS tried to increase the bass on later models, messing up the sound on all those subsequent models. I probably own 8 or more of these. They are a TERRIFIC value.Read full review
