One of the funniest, most cleverly written books I’ve ever read! A compassionate look @ the dysfunctional family, it’s a quirky, smart, contemporary novel addressing marriage, creative genius, & motherhood. Seattle residents take heart - the author’s send up of the city, including Microsoft itself, are a shrewdly observed portrait of a slice of life, idiosyncrasies and all. It’s a brilliant satire, refreshingly original; a book you never want to end!

I love reading novels that will soon be turned into movies because for some reason I believe it means they’ll be good books. I should have learned by know that is not true. It was more of a drama than a thriller. It’s a cute story of a mother and daughter, if that’s your thing, it might be worth the read, but honestly I wouldn’t recommend this book.
