Hear this Mr. Jordan, I'm not going to contribute to helping line your pocket with gold while you keep milking this series out with absolutely nothing to say other then about 5 chapters worth of one of the main characters head ache, about 2 chapters on how each servant in the white tower is dressed, another chapter worth of describing the tea stains on the servants gowns...get the picture? bla bla bla bla bla. Some description is necessary, but Jordan has about 3 paragraphs of description in between everytime a person responds to another in a conversation. "Hello, how are you?" bla bla bla.... (for 3 paragraphs)then finally "Im fine". Im also fed up with his narrating. Jordan goes nowhere with any of the characters in this book. you can basically skip this book and not miss a beat. I would however suggest chapter 21 and about the last 2 or 3 pages, other then that the most exciting thing about the rest of the book is how the aes sedie all over the world respond to the amount of sadir that was used at the end of the previous book and are worried that the forsaken are up to something. This book makes the home shopping network seem like Indiana Jones. I woul'dnt even rate this book with a 1 star except you can't go lower. Im reading the rest of the series from the library and won't even do that if he puts out another book like this one.Read full review
Un like the person who wrote the first review (they OBVIOUSLY don't know good material), I want to say that this book is excellant! As is the entire series!! If I could, I would have given 12 stars!! I could re-read this book (or any in the series, for that matter) as soon as I finished it. And I would get something new that I somehow missed. THAT is the measure of a good book. I am reading this series for the second time because it has been a while since I have been able to find the books. There is nothing that I don't like about this book/series. I recommend this book/series to anyone who loves mystery, intrigue, action, and the use of magic.
Honestly I haven't read the book yet however the package arrived safely on time and it was in perfect condition.

As an avid fantasy reader I feel safe in saying that this book is a 10. Robert Jordan is a captivating author and I have read this series several times. Is the story long winded? Maybe a little. Does Mr. Jordan repeat some mannerisms, situations and other things until it drives my crazy? Possibly. But it is due to the fact that because this is such a long story, and his characters are so important to him and us that he does this. I will never forget each of these characters..I feel like I know the back of THEIR hand. Must read..start with 1...and be ready for the last..It's coming very soon
Robert Jordan is one of the best fantasy writers of the century. He created worlds comparable to that of Tolkien. The Wheel of Time series is a must read for anyone interested in fantasy.
